The Day Has Arrived!!

Crue was born August 4th, at 7:26 am. He was bornat 36.5 weeks so he is techincally premature, I wasn't due until August 26th. He is so precious we love him so much, and can't imagine our lives without him. He is a very special little spirit to have around.
Here is my labor/delivery story:
Wednesday August 3rd we went to Payson to help Stetson finish building his new computer. And I was helping Cody's grandma find some things on the internet to redo a bedroom. We were just sitting there and I got up to look at something on the internet, and I felt a small gush of water. I stood there for a minute and I felt a second and then a third. I knew I wasn't peeing my pants, but I went to the bathroom anyways. And I realized it was definitely my water breaking. I was so nervous to go tell Cody and I was nervous because now everything that I had been waiting for was about to happen. I went out and told him my water broke, and finally he believed me and knew I wasn't peeing my pants. We went to the hospital in Payson at about 9:30 pm Wednesday night. We had to check in, in the ER and then we got all situated in a labor room. They were really short handed that day so they had to call in a nurse to come and help me. They started me on pitocin to get my contractions more consistent at about 10:30 or 11. I was feeling fine at this point, I would have contractions but they weren't anything that I couldn't handle. At around 2:30 I was dilated to a 7, and my contractions changed from being ones I could handle to ones that were so painful I can't even describe the pain. So I asked for a epidural. It took close to an hour before my epidural was in place. But once it was, it was such a good feeling I was feeling great. After the epidural it only took 30 mins for me to get dilated to a 10. My doctor wanted me to rest and descend and just let the baby move down for an hour. My doctor got to the hospital at about 7 am and Crue was right there. I did about 5 sets of 3 pushes and he was born. I didn't tear or have to have an episotomy which is rare for a first time mom. All the nurses and the doctor were so surprised at how well my labor and delivery went. When Crue was placed on my chest I couldn't stop crying, neither could Cody. My little Crue was perfect he didn't have a cone head, and he was the right temp so he didn't even have to go to the warmer.

Its been such a blessing to be a mom, I love him so much and can't imagine my life without him.
