Our family was really busy during the holidays, and having a sick baby has made posting a little hard. On December 4th, Crue was 4 months old....holy cow the time has flown by. He weighed 12.8 lbs and was still pretty small for his age compared to other kids. I liked having a smaller baby :), so I can't complain. Then in the middle of December Crue got a mild cold (or so I thought) he started acting better within a few days so I didn't worry about taking him to the Dr. however, he had been wheezing every now and then so it was always in the back of my mind that he should be checked out. Finally at the end of January I took him to the Dr. because he woke up with a bad cold he had snot all over and was coughing...I could tell my little man didn't feel very good at all. When I got him to the Dr. we were told he had bronchiolitis which can be caused from RSV, so I think he might of had a mild case of RSV in December and I didn't get it taken care of so it turned into bronchiolitis, I felt horrible. We had to buy a nebulizer so we could give him breathing treatments every 4 hours for 5 days straight. We are on the 5th day right now and its so hard, he hates having the mask on his face. I have had a few nights of just crying...because I don't want my little guy to suffer at all. I want to take all the pain and suffering away from him. On top of him being sick I also had a cold, which made everything worse trying to take care of a very sick baby. Luckily I have a awesome husband :) he took the day off work so I could rest and he could help with Crue. I am getting better and I can tell that Crue is getting tons better, he doesn't cough or wheeze as much.
I never knew that I could care about anybody as much as I do about my own child. Its amazing to me that as soon as I found out I was pregnant I was willing to do anything for my baby.
In more happier news...Crue has been eating baby food since about 5.5 months old, he didn't eat it very well until that time, but now that he eats it he LOVES it...we haven't found food that he won't eat. And he also started sitting up just this week. He is a little wobbly still but for the most part he can hold him self up for several minutes.
